Catamaran Ashanty is a Leopard38
Build in South Africa, 2000. It is a kind of boat you can take anywhere in the world and have a comfortable home, as my own sailing life shows. My Ashanty has the usual safety requirements, as lifebelts, VHF radio, single sideband radio, Epirb, fire extinguisher, Radar and AIS.
Electricity we receive from 640 W solarpanels and 8 batteries, to run a freezer/fridge, radio, computer and allows my charter guests to load there electronic stuff on either 220V or 110 V inverters.
For sure we have a galley with LPG burners.
But most important: If you are cruising and island hopping you need a water-maker! Without watermaker yacht charter is no fun! We have a Spectra Watermaker, that produces 25 l (5gls)/ hour. Enough to make our cruise comfordable, even with more guests on board.
